Saturday’s stuff….

Saturday March 24th, 2012….

Asher and Cherie dropped in this morning and after lunch we went out to do some errands (and hope Rubes would have nap in the car!).  We picked up our aboriginal artwork from the framer (Artland Indooroopilly) and it looks fantastic.  They did a really great job!

My two pics today are Instagram ones…. having a bit of fun with that on the new iPhone 🙂

You did have quite a big sleep in the car today in the end… which meant a later night.  We put some ‘In the Night Garden’ on for you and here you are glued!!  You’ve taken over my feeding chair as you think it’s the best chair in the house for watching the tube!!

A pit stop for a feed was required today whilst we were out and about… you fell asleep promptly your tummy was full and looked so cute with your face all smooshed up that Dadda had to take a pic.  Well, actually, Daddy’s first effort was strangely as much about my bosom as your sweet face, so we had to get a second shot 😉

Danny Tiss!

March 16th, 2012…

Mostly an ‘up’ day today!  Had a lovely brekky at Jam with my folks & Anton’s Mum.  Ruby wouldn’t nap again today… but wasn’t too grouchy for it!  4 pics for this post… just because I can 🙂

Here you are, out at brunch, with your Dondy’s iPhone… she has an app on there (Soundtouch) you like and are allowed for a treat… I watched you pressing the phone excitedly and wondered what technology you will see and watch change in your lifetime…

Here you are with your Granny Chris (“Danny Tiss”), in your pretty dresses!  I love the way you are smiling at one another… partners in crime 🙂  You have loved having her here… you’ve bossed her around a fair bit and lapped up all the undivided attention.

Next door’s puppy has snuck into the shot too!

You are so beautiful, my daughter xxx

Oscar… your PaRoy was pretty keen to get his hands on  you for a cuddle this morning.  I loved e you cradled in his arms and being gently stroked by the same strong hands that have loved, teased and built for me over my lifetime.  PaRoy has promised not to become a grumpy old grandad and I know you’ll love having him in your life ♥

Little man, you are growing and changing before our eyes!  I couldn’t resist this pensive picture of you.  My heart, in my hands xxx

My walking hearts ♥♥♥

March 8th, 2012…

Yes, I stole that line from the divine Clare Bowditch and her heart squeezing song “My Walking Hearts”… “Of course I worry too much: how can I not, you’re my walking hearts”

I have three walking hearts now…. it’s terrifying and wonderful all at the same time!

We had a visit from Aunty Shell & baby Jaya today… so lovely for a Mama to see a soul sister!

Oooh, my heart flutters looking at this pic of you and your Daddy!  You were out pottering around the yard, just in your hat and your ‘croccydocs’… helping Daddy and talking to the neighbours.  You have the cutest bum and I think you were told that about 50 times yesterday 🙂

You are adjusting so well to your brother being in the house.  There’s a little of rushing to Mummy asking for ‘tuddles’ when you know I am about to pick Oscar up.  Sometimes when I’m about to feed Oscar you say “No Oscar, no susu” and look quite put out.  I’ve also been ordered to “Put Oscar back in there” a few times, as you point to the bassinette 😉

How is it that prior to your brother arriving I could still carry you around easily… but now you seem so heavy!

Cuddles with you are more precious than ever sweet girl xox

How many photos of a sleeping newborn can one take??  THOUSANDS I think 😉  You are just a little sleeping angel my boy.  Yes, ok, you have your night and day slightly skewiff at the moment, but that will pass.  I did have to convince you in the wee hours of last night  that it was sleep, not party, time!

I love the little milk spots on your nose.  In fact, writing this and looking at your pic makes me want to rush and smooch you!  Might just have to…… xxx
